2.3 Face Verification Information

If you use our face verification feature, we may collect a short verification video or image and facial comparison data used solely to verify that the person in the verification submission matches the profile photos. Verification data is used only for identity verification and fraud prevention and is not sold to third parties.

2.4 Communications

When you use messaging, voice calls, or video calls, we may collect message and call metadata (sender, recipient, timestamps, duration, participants) and technical connection information necessary to provide the service. We do not monitor or record the content of private communications unless required by law or necessary to investigate Terms of Service violations.

2.5 Device and Usage Information

We automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language and regional settings, crash reports, diagnostic data, and usage statistics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Display your profile to other users
• Provide matching and discovery features

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes:

When no longer needed, information will be securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us at trueviewdating@gmail.com. When your account is deleted, your profile becomes inaccessible to other users, your photos and videos are scheduled for deletion, and your personal information is removed from active systems, subject to legal retention requirements. Backup copies may persist briefly before permanent deletion.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, access controls, and regular monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Our service providers may process data outside South Africa. We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate protection for such transfers.

11. Children’s Privacy

TrueViewDating is intended for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware a user is under 18, we will take steps to remove the account and associated information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If material changes occur we will notify users and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
